    The Georgetown University Tumor Biology Program provides PhD and MS students the interdisciplinary education, laboratory experience and career skills they’ll need to excel in cancer research. With the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, our students have access to cutting-edge research collaboration to enhance Georgetown University Medical Center’s basic science and translational research capacity.

    Georgetown’s location in the nation’s capital provides unparalleled access to leading scientific centers, institutes, government agencies, and Montgomery County's I-270 biotechnology Corridor.
    Many of our graduates have established careers with the NIH, Walter Reed, the FDA, or one of the 200 leading biotech companies in the area from AstraZeneca, to RegenxBio, to Samsung Biologics.
